First off the colon is nothing more than the Large Intestine in which non-digestible fiber, water, and waste reside until it’s ready to be passed out of the body through the Rectum and Anus.
Serious problems can occur if waste sits in the Colon for too long without being evacuated from the body because it will eventually putrefy, rot, ferment, turn rancid depending upon the food type (i.e. fats, protein, carbs), and stick to the lining of your Colon.
If this occurs, the toxins from the waste will be absorbed back into the body and can poison the bloodstream, liver, tissues, and so on.
You don’t have to be some expert to know that toxins created by your body’s own waste, going back into your system can lead to all sorts of health issues.
